Respect senior citizens, says President Bhandari



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Bhandari has called on one and all to create an environment conducive to make the elderly’s life healthy, happy and respectable.

In a message on the occasion of International Day of Older Citizens today, President Bhandari has said, “The government should respect and utilize skills, experiences, and knowledge of the elderly as they are the treasure troves.”

Meanwhile, President Bhandari has wished happiness, health, and respectable life for senior citizens.

She has stated that Nepal’s constitution, laws, and policies have fully protected the rights of senior citizens.
