Foreign participants of ‘Sagarmatha Sambaad’ enjoy mountain flight

KATHMANDU: Foreign delegates attending the ‘Sagarmatha Sambaad’ were treated to a mountain flight offering panoramic views of the Himalayan range, including the world’s highest peak, Mt. Sagarmatha (Everest).

The scenic flight was organized under the leadership of Minister for Forests and Environment Ain Bahadur Shahi, with coordination from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nepal Tourism Board.

During the approximately one-hour flight, guests had close-up views of Mt. Sagarmatha, Makalu, Nuptse, Gauri Shankar, and other majestic peaks.

Chief Executive Officer of the Nepal Tourism Board, Deepak Raj Joshi, said the flight was arranged to promote Nepal’s adventure tourism and highlight the country’s unique natural landscapes to international visitors.

The first-ever international ‘Sagarmatha Sambaad’, held under the theme ‘Climate Change, Mountains and the Future of Humanity’, has brought together over 350 distinguished participants from Nepal and around the world.
