‘Social networking sites should be registered”



KATHMANDU: Nagarik daily has prioritized the issues related to registration of social networking sties and the disputes of the ruling Nepal Communist Party in today’s newspaper.

Briefing journalist about the cabinet decisions on Thursday, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota underlined the need to register all forms of social networking sites. They should be brought under the purview of the government to curb cyber crimes.

Similarly, NCP leaders have been expressing dissatisfaction saying that the unification at the district and local levels has been facing stalemate due to the wrangling between chairmen Oli and Dahal. Factional politics and disputes among the party leaders have marred the long-overdue party unification, says the report.
