Indian Minister Manohar Lal Khattar offers prayers at Muktinath temple



MUKTINATH: Indian Minister for Power and Housing Manohar Lal Khattar visited the sacred Muktinath temple on Saturday morning, offering prayers alongside Nepal’s Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka.

The high-level delegation was accompanied by Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava and a 16-member team, according to Mustang Chief District Officer Bishnu Prasad Bhusal.

Muktinath priest Krishna Prasad Subedi performed the rituals and offered tika and prasad to the visiting ministers and their entourage.

Earlier, the delegation was warmly received by CDO Bhusal, local security agency chiefs, and public representatives at the site.
