KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the weather in the country is currently influenced by local and western winds. It has forecasted that this afternoon, the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati Provinces, and other regions will experience partly to generally cloudy conditions.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces. Light snowfall is also likely in some high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces.
According to the Department, tonight the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, while the rest of the country will have generally clear skies. Some areas in these provinces may also witness light to moderate rainfall.
