RPP to protest around restricted area on April 20

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chair Rajendra Lingden has announced that the party will stage a protest in a restricted area on April 20.

The announcement came after a meeting of the party’s Central Working Committee held on Thursday.

Chairman Lingden expressed concerns over what he described as the government’s restriction on civil rights, which he believes prompted the party to take action.

“The government is restricting civil rights, and we have decided to protest in a restricted area against that,” Lingden said.

Rather than organizing a formal meeting, the protest planned for April 20 will be a demonstration, according to the party’s leadership.

The RPP aims to highlight its opposition to the current government policies through this public demonstration.
