Gold price, which dropped by Rs 6,900 in four days, sees increase today



KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which had been continuously falling for the past four days, has seen a significant rise today. The price of gold increased by Rs 2,000 per tola today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of gold has been set at Rs 175,400 per tola today.

Over the past four days, the price of gold had dropped by Rs 6,900. From Friday to Tuesday, the price of gold had been on a steady decline, with a decrease of Rs 400 per tola yesterday alone.

The price of gold had dropped by Rs 3,900 per tola on Friday, Rs 1,900 on Sunday, and Rs 700 on Monday.

Last Thursday, the price of gold had peaked at Rs 180,300 per tola, which was the highest price ever recorded.

The price of silver has also increased today. It has gone up by Rs 5 per tola, now trading at Rs 1,835, according to the Federation.
