PM Oli describes Lord Ram as an ideal figure of peace, justice and righteousness

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has extended his best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasion of Ram Nawami and Chaite Dashain, celebrated today.

Sharing a message on his social media account, Prime Minister Oli highlighted the significance of Lord Ram, describing him as an ideal figure of peace, justice, righteousness, morality, order, good governance, and duty, as depicted in the ancient epic Ramayana.

“In ancient civilizations, nations with good governance were referred to as Ram Rajya. Since Ram chose the path of dignity over popularity, he is revered as an ideal human being with the highest integrity,” the Prime Minister wrote.

Ram Nawami, which falls on the ninth day of the waxing moon in the month of Chaitra according to the lunar calendar, is being observed today across the country by worshipping Lord Shri Ramchandra.
