TU FSU elections conclude peacefully



KATHMANDU: The Free Student Union (FSU) elections at Tribhuvan University’s constituent and affiliated campuses have been successfully completed today.

Voting took place from 8 AM to 4 PM, and aside from minor incidents, the elections were conducted peacefully across all campuses, according to Pashupati Adhikari, secretary of the FSU Central Monitoring and Coordination Committee.

Elections were completed in 38 constituent campuses and 250 affiliated campuses. Vote counting is set to begin later this evening, as per the election committees formed at each campus.

Major campuses where elections took place include Nepal Commerce Campus, Patan Multiple Campus, Pulchowk Engineering Campus, Thapathali Engineering Campus, and Mahendra Ratna Campus.

TU conducts FSU elections every two years as part of its regular electoral process.
