KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 150.88, while the selling rate is Rs 151.48.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.10 and the selling rate at Rs 175.79. The buying rate of one British pound sterling is Rs 203.65 and the selling rate is Rs 204.46, while one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 186.42 for buying and Rs 187.16 for selling.
The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Australian dollar at Rs 108.39 and the selling rate at Rs 108.82. Likewise, one Canadian dollar is set at Rs 109.24 for buying and Rs 109.68 for selling, while one Singapore dollar is fixed at Rs 118.93 for buying and Rs 119.40 for selling.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.65 and the selling rate at Rs 9.69. Similarly, one Chinese yuan is set at Rs 22.46 for buying and Rs 22.55 for selling. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.18 and the selling rate is Rs 40.34, while one Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.39 for buying and Rs 41.56 for selling.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.57 and the selling rate is Rs 4.59. One UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.08 for buying and Rs 41.24 for selling, while one Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 37.33 for buying and Rs 37.48 for selling.
The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 11.10 and the selling rate at Rs 11.14. Similarly, one Swedish krona is set at Rs 15.73 for buying and Rs 15.79 for selling, while one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.42 for buying and Rs 23.52 for selling.
The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.24 and the selling rate at Rs 19.32. Likewise, one Kuwaiti dinar is set at Rs 491.47 for buying and Rs 493.42 for selling. The buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 400.19 and the selling rate is Rs 401.78, while one Omani rial is fixed at Rs 391.89 for buying and Rs 393.45 for selling.
The buying and selling rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on the circumstances. The exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank. The latest exchange rates are available on the official website of Nepal Rastra Bank.
