Malaysia repatriates seven illegal Nepali workers



KATMANDU: Seven illegal Nepali workers repatriated by Malaysia have returned to Nepal. The Nepali Embassy in Kuala Lumpur helped in their journey back to Nepal.

The Embassy said that it provided them will necessary documents and air tickets. The Malaysian government has been currently providing an opportunity for illegal workers to return to their respective countries.

They will be charged 700 Malaysian Ringgit and allowed to return to their countries as per the ‘Back for Good’ campaign. As per the campaign, some 500 Nepalis have already returned home.
