BANGKOK: The Nepali Embassy in Bangkok has once again asked Nepali citizens to go for foreign employment only after getting a work permit as required by the government.

The embassy warned that many Nepalis are getting stranded in countries like Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand, making it difficult to rescue them.

To avoid such problems, the embassy urged everyone to follow the proper process before going abroad for work.

Recently, with help from the Thai government, the embassy rescued two Nepali citizens from Myawaddy, Myanmar. These individuals were involved in online scams. They were sent back to Nepal on Monday.

The embassy also warned people not to fall into the trap of false promises of quick money. They reminded everyone to be cautious and to follow the legal procedure for foreign employment.
