KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has been admitted to Kirtipur Burn Hospital for further treatment.
He sustained injuries while attempting to release a hydrogen gas-filled balloon during the inauguration of Pokhara Tourism Year. The incident led to a fire, also injuring Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhan Raj Acharya.
Both injured officials received initial treatment in Pokhara before being airlifted to Kathmandu for further medical care.
