Gold price surges by Rs 2,300 per tola today

KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have increased today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of gold has risen by Rs 2,300 per tola, reaching Rs 162,800 per tola.

Earlier this week, the price of gold had increased by Rs 1,400 per tola on Wednesday, but dropped by Rs 100 per tola yesterday (Thursday), settling at Rs 160,500 per tola.

Today’s 2,300 rupee increase marks a significant rise in a single day.

The price of silver has also risen by 30 rupees per tola, now standing at 1,915 rupees per tola.
