Two teenage girls found dead in Achham forest



ACHHAM: The bodies of two teenage girls have been discovered in Dhakari Rural Municipality-1, Achham.

According to the District Police Office, Achham, 14-year-olds Ishwori Khadka and Saraswati Khadka, both from Dhakari Rural Municipality-8, were found deceased.

Relatives confirmed that the two girls were related.

Police Inspector Tek Bahadur Deuba stated that their bodies were found in Sisne Odhar, Dhakari Rural Municipality-1.

The girls had left their home at 11 am on Friday to graze goats in the forest. When they did not return by evening, their family began searching for them.

Their bodies were located on Saturday evening, and the police were notified at 7 pm.

DSP Ishwori Prasad Bhandari from the District Police Office, Achham, has arrived at the scene.

Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is underway, though the cause of death remains unknown.
