KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing the influence of western winds.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces are experiencing partial cloud cover, while the weather in other regions remains generally clear. Fog is prevalent in the Terai region.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces. However, partial cloud cover is likely in Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
The department has urged everyone to exercise caution as fog and mist in parts of the Terai and Kathmandu Valley, particularly during the morning hours, could impact daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and aviation services.
