Armed Police Inspector killed in road accident in Sarlahi



KATHMANDU: Armed Police Inspector Bijay Kumar Tuladhar died after being struck by a speeding bus in Sarlahi.

The incident occurred late Tuesday night when a bus (Bagmati Province 01-006Kh 2004) hit Tuladhar while he was on duty at the Chhatauna Border Out Post (BOP) in Balara Municipality-9.

Tuladhar sustained severe injuries in the collision and was rushed to the Provincial Hospital in Malangwa for treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries en route, according to Armed Police Superintendent Binod Raj Khanal.

Authorities have arrested three individuals, including the driver of the bus, in connection with the incident. Investigations are underway.
