Two parliamentary committees to convene today at Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: Two key committees under the Federal Parliament are set to meet today at Singha Durbar, focusing on discussions around legislative and financial matters.

The Finance Committee will convene at 11 am to hold a principled discussion on the Bill to amend and unify Nepal’s customs laws.

The meeting will include the participation of the Finance Minister and Revenue Secretary, who have been invited to provide insights and respond to queries on the proposed bill.

Later in the day, the Legislative Management Committee is scheduled to meet at 1 pm. The agenda includes discussions on the Tilanga Eye University Bill, 2024.

Stakeholders associated with the bill will join the session to deliberate on its provisions and implications.
