Former RSS officiating GM, Rana, passes away

KATHMANDU: Former Officiating General Manager of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), Jaya Shumsher Rana, passed away in Bhopal, India, today. He was 80.

Suffering from respiratory problems, Rana died in the course of treatment.

He was a former Chief of the RSS English Desk.  His last rites would be performed today itself, said Rana’s younger brother, Prabhat Shumsher Rana.

Rana had been residing in Bhopal after retirement from RSS. He is survived by two sons.
