President Bhandari reaches Pashupatinath on Teej

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Monday evening reached Pashupatinath Temple for worship on the occasion of Teej festival. The festival is being observed by Nepali Hindu women across the country on Monday.

She was welcomed by the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai, secretary at the Ministry Kedar Bahadur Adhikari and the officials of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) and others upon her arrival.

PADT member-secretary, Pradeep Dhakal shared that President Bhandari received prasad following the worship. The Pashupatinath Temple in the capital has seen an overwhelming number of women devotees since early this morning.
