Chief Minister Kandel urges help in infrastructure development



KARNALI: Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Yamlal Kandel, has urged the development partners of Nepal to help in infrastructure development of the Province.

In a meeting with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for Nepal, Kyoko Yokosuka, he emphasized that Nepal has not been able make the expected progress in the fields of education and health due to the lack of the required infrastructure.

Hence, the priority of development partners should be helping Nepal with infrastructure development.

Resident Representative Yokosuka gave a positive response to the suggestions from the Chief Minister.
