Gold price down by Rs. 1,200 per tola

KATHMANDU: The Nepali gold market saw a notable downturn today, with the price of fine gold falling by Rs. 1,200 per tola.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price of fine gold stands at Rs. 149,300 per tola, down from Rs. 150,500 per tola.

Tejabi gold has also dropped by Rs. 1,200, now priced at Rs. 148,600 per tola, compared to its previous rate of Rs. 149,800 per tola.

This decline follows a peak on October 31, 2024, when fine gold hit a record high of Rs. 171,000 per tola.

In addition to gold, silver prices have also seen a minor reduction, falling by Rs. 25 per tola.

The current price of silver is Rs. 1,815 per tola, down from Rs. 1,840 the day before.
