Bhupamani Pun Magar of Nepali Congress wins Ward Chairperson election in Runtighadhi-4, Rolpa



KATHMANDU: Bhupamani Pun Magar, the candidate from the Nepali Congress, has won the Ward No. 4 chairperson election in Runtighadhi Rural Municipality, Rolpa.

Pun Magar secured 643 votes, defeating his closest rival, Begam Pun Magar of CPN-UML, who received 535 votes.

Narayeshjung Singh of CPN-Maoist Center received 70 votes.

Other candidates in the election included Pahal Bahadur Oli of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, who received 10 votes, Him Bahadur Pun of the Rastriya Swatantra Party with 7 votes, and Purna Bahadur Buddha Magar from the Mongol National Organization, who also received 7 votes.
