One killed, two critically injured in Chitwan accident



CHITWAN: A person was killed and two others were critically injured in a road accident at Sabjimandi in Ratnanagar Municipality-2 along the East-West Highway.

According to the District Police Office, the accident occurred when a bus traveling from Khairhani to Tandi collided with a motorcycle.

Among the injured, 21-year-old Sunil Poudel from Ratnanagar-13, Amilia, died while undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.

The other two individuals, Sahil Pariyar, 20, and Sanjaya Lama, 21, also from the same area, sustained critical injuries and are receiving treatment at the same facility.

The police have arrested the bus driver in connection with the accident.
