NC President Deuba receives tika



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has received bhai tika from his younger sister Sushila Khadka.

President Deuba received the tika at his residence, Budhanilakantha, Kathmandu on the occasion of the Bhai Tika, the final day of five-day-long Tihar festival on Sunday, according to his personal secretariat.

The Nepal Calendar Determination Committee had informed that the auspicious hour to receive tika was 11:37 am this year.

The sisters offer tika to their brothers on the final day of Yamapanchak.
