CHITWAN: Television presenter Rabi Lamichhane on Tuesday has reinforced the need to ‘correct the country’s political culture’ while reiterating his commitment of raising his voice against all anomalies.

Speaking to journalists a day after his release on bail in Chitwan today, Lamichhane expressed gratitude to those who extended solidarity while he was in the police custody.

“It’s not about switching over the politics as what has been widely presumed,” he said adding, “I want to raise my voice more strongly against the existing irregularities in the country.”

He also urged one and all to have the guts to raise question on the political leadership. “If we don’t do it, the leaders would not be responsible towards the people.”

In yet another context, Lamichhane said he has no grudges with Kishor Shrestha, Officiating Chairperson of Press Council Nepal and actor Karishma Manandhar. “I have always treaded on the path of righteousness, therefore, I have been freed.”
