KATHMANDU: Television presenter Rabi Lamichhane, who is currently under police custody in Chitwan, is safe, actor Dipak Raj Giri has said.
Giri said this after meeting with Lamichane at the Chitwan police office. “We met him (Lamichhane) and talked about amendments in the law. And most importantly, he is safe there,” Giri said.
Giri also expressed the optimism that Rabi would be released anytime today.
