KATHMANDU: The Central Committee of the CPN-UML is scheduled to begin its meeting at 11 am today.
All members of the Central Committee are expected to present their views and opinions during the meeting.
The gathering will be the party’s first Central Committee meeting since the House of Representatives elections held on March 5.
Prior to the main meeting, the party’s Central Secretariat will convene at the UML central office at 9 am to finalize the agenda for the Central Committee discussion.
According to Niraj Acharya, head of the party’s Publicity and Publication Department, the Secretariat meeting, which began on Sunday, will resume today.
The Central Committee meeting had previously been postponed following the submission of the Election Review Task Force’s report to party Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
