PM Oli expresses sorrow over demise of Arun Jaitley

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Arun Jaitley.

PM Oli tweeted on Saturday to express his sadness over the passing away of the former Indian Finance Minister addressing his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

In a tweet he extended condolences to the entire Indian people, the government and the bereaved family. Jaitley passed away on Saturday at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). He was 66.

Likewise, PM Oli also expressed sorrow over the demise of Dr. Prayagdatta Lekhak, father of Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak. In a tweet, he extended condolences to the bereaved family members including leader Ramesh Lekhak. Lekhak died on Friday at Kathmandu-based Norvic International Hospital. He was 87.
