Parliamentary committee inspects Chabahil-Sanghu, Jorpati-Sundarijal roads

KATHMANDU: The Development and Technology Committee under the House of Representatives has inspected Chabahil-Bouddha-Jorpati-Sanghu and Jorpati-Sundarijal roads.

During the inspection, the committee president Kalyani Kumari Khadka pledged to seek a way out after discussing the matter with the concerned authorities.

On the occasion, Mayor of Shankharapur municipality Subarna Shrestha demanded management of telephone wires and electric poles and wire set up haphazardly and laying of water pipes in an integrated way.

Likewise, chairperson of the Sankhu-Jorpati road stakeholder group, Milan Khadka demanded that local people should be informed of every road construction details.

The inspection team comprised lawmakers of the committee and people’s representatives of federal, state and local levels of the constituency.
