PM Oli presents National Education Day Prizes towards various categories

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today honoured various schools with the National Education Prize on the occasion of National Education Day.

The Kaski-based National School of Business has been awarded this year’s ‘Best Campus National Award’ carrying a purse of Rs 250,000.

Similarly, the Chapagaun-based Janabhawana Campus in Lalitur has bagged the prize for the best community campus, and the Kathmandu-based Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences towards the private campuses. They each bagged the cash prize of Rs 250,000.

Similarly, the Tulsipur Secondary School based in Dang of Tulsipur has been presented with the National Award for its outstanding SEE results-2080 BS among the community schools. The award carries a purse of Rs 300,000, a shield, and a certificate.

The Vishwa Niketan School based in Kathmandu bagged the cash prize of Rs 200,000 for its second position in the SEE results and the third prize carrying the purse of Rs 100,000 has been conferred on the Dang-based Janakalyan Secondary School, Shantinagar.

Likewise, among the private schools, Fluorescent Secondary School in Tokha of Kathmandu bagged the first prize with Rs 300,000. The second prize of Rs 200,000 has been conferred on the Bijeshwori Gyan Mandir Sainik Mahabidhyalaya, Kathmandu and the Budhanikantha School in Kathmandu has bagged the third prize of Rs 100,000.

Among technical schools, Nepal Banepa Polytechnic Institute in Kavrepalanchowk, the Tulsipur-based Polytechnic Institute in Dang, the Janata Secondary School Banganga in Kapilvastu, and the Nepal Army College of Health Sciences, Kathmandu have been presented with Rs 100,000 each for their outstanding results in the examinations conducted by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training.

Similarly, Youth Activities Upliftment Centre Kageshwori and the C Asha Foundation Lalitpur have been awarded the Social Service Award carrying a purse of Rs 200,000 each and a certificate. On the occasion, the Prime Minister launched the Educational Souvenior-2081 BS.
