Narayangadh-Butwal road to be completed in one year: Minister Dahal

CHITWAN: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Devendra Dahal, has said that the government was at work to complete the construction works of Narayangadh-Butwal road section as the earliest.

In a press meet held in Chitwan on Monday, he said that the government had moved forward to complete the remaining works within one year.

“It has been a long time since the construction of the road began, but looking at the progress, it is found that only about 54 percent so far. We have extended the deadline by one year, now. So, it must be accomplished within this deadline,” he said.

He assured that there would not be any problem from the the government side for the construction of the road section. The contractor is paid on time.

Meanwhile, he informed that the government was preparing to issue licenses with QR codes.

He however made it clear that it is the responsibility of province government.
