Weather to remain partly to mostly cloudy today



KATHMANDU: The monsoon is currently affecting the country, with the monsoon trough located south of its usual position.

As of Wednesday morning, the weather is partly to mostly cloudy across the country.

The Weather Forecasting Division has reported light rain in one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

This afternoon, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in some areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with a few showers expected in the remaining provinces.

Heavy rain may occur in one or two places in the Karnali Province.

Tonight, the country will continue to experience partly to mostly cloudy conditions.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Lumbini provinces, and in one or two places in other provinces.
