Jeep plunges into Sunkoshi river, three missing



KATHMANDU: A jeep veered off the road and plunged into the Sunkoshi River on Saturday, leaving three people missing.

The accident occurred in Kudule, Golanjhor-1, Sindhuli district, while the vehicle was en route to Kathmandu.

According to police reports, there were four people in the jeep at the time of the incident.

One person managed to survive by jumping from the vehicle and sustained injuries.

The whereabouts of the other three passengers, Abin BK, 32, the driver, Pranit Syagu, 30 and Balram Ghatuwa of Suryabinayak Municipality, Bhaktapur remain unknown, and search efforts are ongoing.
