Three members of a family killed in Jajarkot landslide



JAJARKOT: Three members of a family were killed in a landslide this morning at Majhgaun in Nalgad Municipality-2, Jajarkot.

The deceased have been identified as Lal Bahadur Pariyar, 42, Manisa Pariyar, 34, and their two-year-old son Shivam Pariyar, all residents of Nalgad-2.

According to Mayor Dambar Rawat, the family was residing in a temporary shelter constructed for earthquake victims.

A police team led by Police Inspector Madhav Prasad Chaudhary from the Area Police Office Dalli arrived at the scene.

The incident occurred near Dalli, the administrative center of Nalgad Municipality.
