KATHMANDU: Skill and language tests for Nepali nationals interested in building sanitation and management jobs in Japan are scheduled from November 27 to December 8.
A team of Japanese officials informed Dhandu Raj Ghimire, the Director General of the Department of Foreign Employment, about the exams for those seeking employment in Japan under the SSW (Specified Skilled Worker) process.
According to Director General Ghimire, the Japanese team has expressed interest in welcoming 30,000 laborers.
This marks the first time Japan will accept Nepali migrant laborers in the building sanitation and management sector.
