Heavy rainfall forecast for five provinces today



KATHMANDU: The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has forecasted heavy rainfall today in five provinces, including Bagmati.

Nepal is currently experiencing the effects of monsoon winds.

According to the department, significant rainfall is expected in Bagmati, Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim Provinces throughout Thursday.

Additionally, tonight, some areas in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will likely experience rainfall, with heavy rain anticipated in parts of Bagmati and Sudurpaschim.

Residents are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
