KASKI: Three persons lost lives in two water-related incidents.

They died after drowning in a river and a pond on Friday.

Two youths drowned while swimming in the Harpankhola rivulet at Ghantichhina of Pokhara Metropolitan City-23, according to spokesperson at District Police Office, Basanta Kumar Sharma.

Those killed in the incident were Prakrit Buddhacharya, 18, from Mohariya Tole of Pokhara-1, and Swayam Tamrakar, 18, from Baglung Bus Park of Pokhara-2.

They were friends each other and had gone for swimming in the rivulet.

Similarly, Sachin Pariyar, 6, from Pokhara-26 died, getting drowned in the Gudetal pond.
