KATHMANDU: The search operation for two buses and their passengers, which were swept away by a landslide into the Trishuli River on Friday morning, continued on Monday.
Teams from the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Army are relentlessly conducting the search operations.
More than 500 security personnel, including divers, have been deployed in the area.
Out of the 65 passengers on board the two buses, three survived.
So far, 12 bodies have been recovered, with five identified.
On Sunday, four bodies were found at Valmiki Canal in India, and one each in Madhya Bindu, Nawalpur, Susta-4 of West Nawalparasi, and Bharatpur-26.
The government has sought assistance from India and Bangladesh to aid in the ongoing search for the missing buses and their passengers.
