One-way traffic resumes on Prithvi Highway

MUGLIN: One-way traffic has resumed on the Prithvi Highway after debris was cleared from the road.

The landslide at Mauwakhola in Ichhchhakamana-3, Chitwan, had obstructed traffic since this morning.

Police Inspector Nirala Bhandari from the Area Police Office in Muglin stated that it will take time to restore two-way traffic.

Continuous landslides and ongoing rainfall are hindering debris clearance efforts, she added.

Despite thousands of vehicles using this busy highway, the Traffic Police Office in Chitwan has been unable to record the estimated number.
