On Sunday, Chief Administrative Officer Laxmi Prasad Paudel represented the metropolitan city, while Vikas Gautam represented the construction company during the signing ceremony.

The agreement was exchanged by Bharatpur Mayor Renu Dahal and Vikas Gautam of the construction company.

During the ceremony, Mayor Dahal urged the construction company to complete the work on time.

Deputy Mayor Chitrasen Adhikari, Chief Administrative Officer Paudel, and Senior Engineer Santosh Acharya were also present at the agreement exchange ceremony.

According to the agreement, the construction is to be completed by January 5, 2027. The total cost of the stadium, including VAT and PSC, is Rs 755,091,189.

The stadium will include a field with five pitches, equipped with modern drainage technology, and two three-story towers.

One tower will have VIP suites and player accommodations, while the other will house media, umpires, and corporate boxes.

Before the suspension of construction by the Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation, a parapet with a capacity of 5,000 was already built.

When the metropolitan city called for bids for the second time for the stadium’s construction, twelve companies submitted proposals.

Himalayan Kalinchowk-BBR JV was selected from among them.
