Gold price down by Rs 700 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has decreased by Rs 700 today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is priced at Rs 141,600 per tola, while standard gold is trading at Rs 140,900 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has been set at Rs 1,790 per tola today.

The Federation sets the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market daily, based on international market rates.

For reference, one tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
