Temperature rises across the country, Kathmandu Valley experiences 33 degrees celsius



KATHMANDU: The temperature has sharply increased across the country, including in the Kathmandu Valley, making normal life difficult in Tarai districts.

Pratibha Manandhar, a meteorologist at the Meteorological Forecasting Division, reported that the maximum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley reached 33 degrees Celsius today, indicating a continued increase over the past few days.

While the monsoon season is still expected in Nepal, it has already reached India today.

It is anticipated to take about a week to arrive in Nepal, during which temperatures are likely to rise further.

In other regions, temperatures soared to 36.6 degrees Celsius in Dipayal, 41 degrees Celsius in Dhangadhi, 42.5 degrees Celsius in Sadepani of Kailali, 41.2 degrees Celsius in Nepalgunj, and 38.6 degrees Celsius in Bhairahawa today.

Nepal is currently experiencing the combined effects of local winds, the Westerly wind, and the partial impact of a low-pressure system centered around Bihar, India.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Koshi Province and the hilly regions of the country are experiencing partly to generally cloudy weather, while the rest of the country is experiencing partly cloudy to mainly fair conditions.
