Soaring temperature: Schools in Janakpur closed for five days

JANAKPURDHAM: The Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City announced the closure of schools for five days due to soaring temperatures.

In a notice issued by the Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City, it has been announced that schools within the sub-metropolis would be shut from today onwards.

Mehi Lal Yadav, the Chief Administrative Officer of the sub-metropolis, said that the decision was prompted by concerns for students’ well-being amid the extreme heat wave conditions.

Additionally, the government has issued warnings to the public in the Terai region, advising caution as a heat wave is anticipated to persist for the next three days.
