Lightning strike claims life of 6-year-old boy in Achham



ACHHAM: A 6-year-old boy lost his life to lightning in Achham, while a buffalo also succumbed to the same fate.

According to the District Police Office Achham, the victim, identified as Gaurav Bhandari, the 6-year-old son of Kamal Bhandari from Ramaroshan Rural Municipality-7, was struck by lightning during a storm last night and died on the spot.

The incident occurred while Gaurav was inside his house.

In addition to the loss of young Gaurav’s life, a buffalo belonging to Ram Bhandari from Ramaroshan Rural Municipality-7 also perished due to the lightning strike.
