KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a mixed weather pattern across Nepal, influenced by a partial effect of westerly and local winds.

The Division has indicated predominantly clear conditions in most parts of the country, with partial cloud cover over hilly regions.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to maintain clarity in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while other areas will also experience mostly clear skies.

However, there’s a likelihood of scattered light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Additionally, isolated instances of windstorms are probable in Koshi, Madhes, and Lumbini provinces.

Looking ahead, the Division has forecasted the onset of a western low-pressure system entering Nepal starting Saturday, signaling a potential shift in weather conditions.
