Biplav cadres torch two vehicles in Makwanpur



KATHMANDU: Cadres of Nepal Community Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’  have torched two vehicles in Makwanpur district on Wednesday.

According to District Police Office, Makwanpur, Biplav cadres set a fire to a truck, Ba 5 Kha 1739, at Jyamire along the Hetauda-Narayangadh road section and a car, Ba 14 Cha 8234, along Fakhel-Humane road section this morning. The car has been fully damaged in the arson attack while the truck has sustained partial damages.

Biplav outfit has called a bandh in Bagmati and Narayani Zones and Ramechhap and Dolakha districts, demanding release of Maila Lama, in-charge of Kathmandu Valley, on Wednesday.

However, the bandh has minor impact in the Kathmandu Valley.
