KATHMANDU: A meeting of the cabinet is taking place this morning.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting to be held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers is a regular one.
It has been said that the government is poised to enact amendments to certain laws through an ordinance.
It may be noted that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had last week announced formulating an ordinance for the same.
While the agenda is expected to encompass discussions on law amendments, a minister disclosed that the specific items for deliberation have yet to be finalized.
