President Paudel to visit Japan on Sunday



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel is scheduled to visit Japan on February 1.

A Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Thursday approved President Paudel’s visit to Japan, government spokesperson and Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal said.

The Cabinet also approved a delegation led by President Paudel to attend programs being organized in Japan from February 1 to 4 to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan, Aryal added.

Meanwhile, the meeting decided to increase the ration scale and daily ration allowance of Nepal Police, effective from February 13.

The Cabinet also decided to make public the report submitted by the Recommendation Committee–2082 related to the restructuring of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited.
