KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a blend of westerly winds and local air currents influencing Nepal’s weather currently.
Conditions are generally clear across the country, the Division said.
This afternoon, there’s a possibility of scattered light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in select areas of the hilly regions within Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Similarly, a few spots in the hilly terrain of Koshi and Bagmati provinces might experience similar weather patterns.
Moreover, isolated instances of light snowfall are possible in certain areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and the higher locations of Sudurpaschim Province.
In the Terai regions, storms could occur in certain areas of Madhes Province, as well as a few places of Koshi and Lumbini provinces.
Tonight, the chance of encountering light rain with thunder and lightning persists in select hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
